Mission Day, 58 years later.
The Enola Gay has been restored.

The restoration took over a quarter of a million hours, and was so thorough that Smithsonian officials say the plane “would probably start if fueled”. The B-29 will be displayed at the Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport.
